Paul Higgins: Having utilised interval training for my cycling program I agree that it works but the evidence is that drop out rates are high because it hurts a lot more than normal exercise. In my case there is certainly a psychological block on the days I set up to do interval training.
Mabye this theory can be applied to other things as well. I have to keep this in mind.
